I have had such an amazing experience through trimester 2 and now trimester 3 of my pregnancy while working out at MFW. Each and every trainer has helped with modifications in sessions and advice along the way. I love a group fitness class but it was quite hard to find one to suit my needs after I found out I was pregnant. The team at MFW were so welcoming and I’ve really enjoyed every class that I have been to. The app makes it extremely easy to book classes and see what’s available as well as communicate with any of the trainers if needed. The weekly structure and phases that they have has really helped to take away the mental load of me planning workouts and weights etc Would highly recommend MFW to any woman looking for a gym / fitness class in South Yarra.
Absolutely love this gym! I’ve been a member for over 6 months now, and it’s been the best fitness experience I’ve ever had. The variety of classes available keeps things exciting and challenging, from strength training to yoga and everything in between. The coaches are amazing—so understanding, encouraging, and always ready to help you reach your goals. They genuinely care about your progress and are always there to offer guidance and support. The sense of community here is incredible, and it’s so motivating to be surrounded by such a positive, welcoming group of women. I’ve never felt more confident in my fitness journey. Highly recommend!
MFW is undoubtedly one of the best decisions I’ve made. The team is knowledgeable, and customises the workout to my goals. The sessions are challenging but achievable, and I’ve definitely seen progress in both strength and technique.
Working out at MFW has been an amazing experience! From my initial consultation with Christine, where we discussed nutrition, rep ranges, and tailored workouts, to the diverse workout sessions, everything has been spot-on. I love the Tuesday boxing cardio session—it’s such a fun way to stay motivated. The trainers are friendly, experienced, and really make the environment feel supportive and welcoming. The women-only setting also makes it non-intimidating, especially for beginners. Highly recommend MFW to anyone looking for a fresh, empowering workout space!

I've been going to MFW for about a year and have loved it! The classes and personal training sessions are both fantastic! All the trainers are incredibly supportive, enthusiastic and welcoming. Owner Christine and all the trainers put in a big effort to building a community feeling and getting to know everyone personally. For someone like me who has always wanted to get into strength training but hasn't felt confident in a gym setting, the all-female, small class environment has been great and exactly what I’ve needed to get started. The focus is truly on fitness and building strength, rather than a focus on body shape or looks. Highly recommend MFW!

Just wanted to hop on and add to this, 7 am boxing class this morning was so great! I was feeling sluggish before the class and tsp energised after the class! Sarah is an awesome coach, such a full energy class, great with fine tuning and improving our technique. Builds upper and lower body strength and cardio! Thanks MFW and Sarah and ladies in the class today 😊. Going to the gym classes at MFW is something I look forward to in my week. Especially being able to fit the classes around a super busy work week. The Instructors are truly awesome. They're highly skilled in teaching & training step by step to improve technique (essential to reduce injuries) & increase gradually what we can all do as our fitness increases. The group of women in each class is great, so many lovely women! The instructors always make time to answer questions & often this opens into a chat about so many things. So I now feel like I'm very much amongst friends & this gym builds a real experience of community. I love it! Highly recommend it! Christine the owner keeps adding more value that improve the space and service, the new range of protein powder I bought (that I haven't found anywhere else) is a superfood as well :)
